Are you the kind of person who can’t resist checking out what’s new on supermarket shelves?

Do you love the buzz of discovering the next big food trend before everyone else?

Imagine turning that curiosity into your full-time job – all while cruising around Scotland in your very own company car.

We’re looking for an ambitious, switched-on foodie to join a major player in the chilled meats sector as a Field Insight Support. This is a unique opportunity where your passion for food and retail can really make a substantial impact.

Your mission? You’ll be out on the road across Scotland, visiting supermarkets, analysing what’s happening on the shelves, and spotting potential rival products before they make a dent in the market.

From uncovering new product launches to tracking seasonal ranges, you’ll be leading the charge on gap analysis and competitor insight. You’ll be the person who knows exactly what’s going on in-store, what’s landing with shoppers, and where the next big opportunity could be hiding.

This is more than just a reporting role. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Commercial Manager at a brand-new Scottish site that has recently joined the business. Your insights and market knowledge will help shape real-time commercial decisions and contribute to the future growth of the company in this region.

It’s a role with plenty of room to grow, offering exposure to commercial strategy, product development, and the wider workings of a major FMCG operation.

The perfect candidate will have a keen interest in marketing, a natural curiosity about consumer behaviour, and a real appetite for all things food.

This role offers you the keys to your own set of wheels, making those supermarket trips and site visits that much easier and, frankly, that much more fun.

If you’re looking for a role where you can combine your passion for food, your interest in marketing, and your drive to build a career in the FMCG space, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. The chance to grow, to get real responsibility, and to genuinely shape what’s next for the business is right here.

Ready to hit the road and make your mark? We can’t wait to hear from you.

My dog’s become a very fussy eater…

…and honestly it’s all my fault.

He was inspired after an ill-fated re-watch of Ratatouille to get himself in the kitchen.

Now the run-of-the-mill supermarket dog food has lost it’s appeal totally. My little GorDOG Ramsey has set his sights on something more…

Luckily, our client has asked me to find someone who can solve this problem for all those stubborn dogs who’ve also turned their paw to an all manner of kitchen activities.

I’m hoping your up for joining this team as Senior Development Technologist (you’ll sort em ’out right?).

First things first, our client is well known for putting their love of man’s best friend above all else. Making their goal crystal clear: To give dog owners a better, fresher, and healthier way to feed their pets.

Simply put, they want to get tails wagging all over the country (with aspirations of going global). YOU are going to be a key part of making this dream a reality.

So, what are you gonna be up to then?

Grab the leash and lead your NPD team to create bold and exciting products while ensuring our existing lines stay best-in-class — balancing creativity with technical excellence.

You’ll also act as Technical Project Lead, owning critical paths end-to-end for both in house manufactured and white label suppliers through pulling together Production, Marketing, Finance, Design, Customer Service, and external suppliers. This role demands a blend of ownership, initiative, and collaborative leadership, managing direct product lines across NPD and EPD with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.

No day is the same in this role. Work a multitude of different environments including: the test kitchen and factory floor. This is the perfect space for you to demonstrate your impressive strategic problem-solving skills for finding the technical solutions to complex challenges that no one else can.

We’re hoping you’re a strong communicator, who is able to juggle the responsibility of managing different teams and projects at the same time with ease.

Fuel your creative side by diving into market research to emerging trends, and competitor moves. All this to help move the needle on driving innovation in this exciting industry.

We’re on the lookout for someone with 3-5+ years in the food product development space – whilst boasting an impressive track record of wins to match. While we’re at it… Added Value Meats, Thermal Processing or the Pet Food industry experience would be lovely.

Who can say no to that?

I’d really love it if you could convince my dog to take the chef’s hat off…

Steaks sizzling on the grill, sausages stacked to the brim in the fridge, burgers flying off shelves every weekend…

That’s the set up for a perfect weekend in the sun in my book.

But, behind every product that ends up in a shopping basket there’s a whole team of clever clogs making smart decisions at speed. However, decisions don’t just get made willy nilly. No matter how smart someone is, data is key to making any decision…

…and in this role, you’ll be key in delivering quality data to teams like this.

We’re working with a big name in the UK meat production landscape to find a Commercial Analyst who can support the commercial team by turning raw data into useful information that shapes decisions, streamlines operations and strengthens performance.

Your focus will be on one of the UK’s most iconic grocery retailers - Asda.

This is not a job for someone who wants to sit quietly in a corner with a spreadsheet. You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with a fast-moving commercial team.

This is for someone who wants to be right at the centre of the action; close to the numbers and to the people that make the decisions that matter.

Be on your toes! One moment you might be analysing promotional performance or identifying trends in customer demand. The next, you could be updating pricing files, supporting volume forecasting, or helping prepare insights for key customer meetings.

Work closely with senior leadership as well as teams across sales, supply chain, finance and production. Knowing your way around a calculator will be pretty crucial here!

We are looking for someone who is naturally analytical and eager to learn. You might have worked in a commercial or operational role before, or come from a background in finance, retail, supply chain or FMCG. Most importantly, you will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the drive to develop a career in the food industry.

This is your chance to build hands-on experience in a major food business, working on a retail account that is known across the UK.

You will gain valuable exposure to commercial strategy, customer relationships and operational decision making - all while sharpening your skills and growing your confidence.

Apply now and take a bite out of your next big opportunity.
